Hello and welcome to "AWS Interview Mastery: Get Hired in the Cloud". My name is Lucy Wang, and I'll be your instructor for this course. Over the next few lessons, we’re going to dive into the world of AWS interviews, and master the key strategies to landing your very first job in the cloud.

We’ll explore everything from the basics of AWS, how to build an effective resume, to actual interview techniques that will set you apart from the crowd. Then we will take a look at the various AWS jobs out there, like Cloud Engineers, and Solutions Architects - as well as what the interview process for those roles typically involve.

This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge, confidence, and practice needed to excel in AWS interviews. By the end of the course, you'll not only have a deeper understanding of AWS, but also the strategies to effectively showcase your cloud skills and experiences in interviews.

About Instructor 👩‍💻

Some of you might know me from my YouTube channel, ‘Tech With Lucy’, where I help job-seeker and career-changers build their technical skills and land their dream cloud job. But before we dive straight into this course, let me share a bit more about my journey.

I embarked on my cloud computing adventure nearly 4 years ago, where I spent most of that time working as a Solutions Architect at AWS. My main role was to help small-to-medium businesses integrate cloud technologies into their operations This involved a lot of problem solving, understanding customer needs, and designing tailored solutions that leveraged AWS services to drive business growth.

Throughout my job, I gained a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, network architectures, and how to build scalable systems in the cloud. Working closely with businesses taught me the importance of clear communication, strategic thinking, and being customer-focused.

But, my work didn’t just stop there. On the weekends, I mentored and helped hundreds of students and job-seekers through one-on-one consultations. This included helping them with resume building, and conducting mock interviews. Here's what some of my mentees had to say:
